Colin Kelty

Colin began his career in financial advising in 2009 and found his passion in helping clients accomplish their financial dreams. In February of 2019, he and Michael Goldenberg formed AFIN Family Wealth Management to be an independent, financial planning-based advisory firm. They share the goal of elevating the customer experience through comprehensive planning and peerless customer service. Colin is dedicated to providing his clients with the tools, education, and structure needed for them to accomplish their life’s goals. He specializes in holistic financial planning and feels that it is imperative for a plan to integrate all aspects of financial resource and risk management- retirement readiness, investment management, insurance coverage (including long term care), tax management, estate planning, and all other intricacies of a client’s financial life.

Colin graduated with honors with a BA/BS from The Ohio State University. After graduation, he moved to Chicagoland and fell in love with his adoptive home. When not directing his energies to his client’s financial success, Colin enjoys spending time with his children, Alice and Finnegan. He also loves to cook (and more importantly eat) excellent food, enjoy live music,  is an avid reader, an enthusiastic football fan, and marathon runner pursuing a goal of running a race in all 50 states.
